Shipping & Delivery
What are your shipping costs?
We offer a flat‑rate shipping fee of $7.95 on all orders within the United States. No surprises at checkout.
Do you offer free shipping?
Yes — orders of $75 or more ship free for our retail customers.
Can I pick up my order locally?
Yes! We’re based in Sherwood, Oregon and offer local pickup. Once your order is ready, we’ll contact you by email or phone with pickup details. If you need it sooner, call us at 503‑610‑1252 and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.
Can I visit your workshop or stop by without an order?
Our business is located on our private property, and while we work here every day, we don’t keep regular office hours. We’re often pouring soap, making products, packing orders, or away at fairs, markets, and trade shows. To make sure you don’t drive out when we’re not available, all visits and pickups are by appointment only. Please call us at 503‑610‑1252 before coming out so we can be here to help you.
Can I track my order?
Yes. As soon as your package ships, you’ll receive an email with your tracking number.

I’m having trouble ordering online. What should I do?

Is it safe to order on your website?
Yes. Your payment information is never stored in our system. We value your privacy and keep your data secure. We also do not process your credit card until your order ships.
I prefer not to order online. Can I place an order by phone?
Absolutely. Call us at 503‑610‑1252 and we’ll take your order personally. We love talking with our customers.
Product & Quality
What should I do if my order arrives damaged?
If anything arrives damaged, leaking, or unusable, please contact us right away at info@oregonrainsoap.com or 503‑610‑1252 (M–F, 7am–4pm PST). Include your name, order number, and a description (or photo) of the damaged item(s). We’ll make it right.
Do you test on animals?
No. Our products are cruelty‑free and always have been.
Are your products handmade?
Yes. Every soap, lotion, candle, and body care item is handcrafted in small batches right here in our workshop in Sherwood, Oregon.
Do all of your products contain Oregon rainwater?
Many of our soaps and body care items are made with real Oregon rainwater, but not all products use it. We clearly list ingredients on each product page so you always know what you’re getting.
Ingredients & Safety
What are glucono delta lactone and sodium benzoate? Why are they in your lotions?
Glucono delta lactone (GDL) is a naturally derived preservative that helps prevent microbial growth. Sodium benzoate works alongside GDL to inhibit mold and yeast, keeping your lotion safe and fresh without harsh chemicals.
Are your products safe for sensitive skin?
Many customers with sensitive skin love our products because they’re made with gentle, skin‑loving ingredients. However, everyone’s skin is different. We recommend checking the ingredient list and doing a small patch test if you’re unsure.
Do your products contain parabens or phthalates?
No. Our formulas are paraben‑free and phthalate‑free.
